JAC Delhi 2026 Round 2 Allotment Result Out: Important Steps & Cutoff Release Update

Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Delhi has declared the Round 2 seat allotments. Here is how to complete fee payment, verification, and check your status.

Cutoff Closing Ranks Status: NOT YET OUT

While candidates can check their individual allotment status by logging into the portal, the official Round 2 Opening and Closing Rank (OR-CR) PDFs have not been released by JAC Delhi. We are tracking the website 24/7 and will upload them the second they go live.

The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi announced the Round 2 seat allotment results on July 1, 2026. Thousands of candidates who registered for admissions to B.Tech and B.Arch programs in premier state universities — Delhi Technological University (DTU), Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi), and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) — can now check their allocation status.

How to Check Allotment Result

  1. Visit the official JAC Delhi website: jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.
  2. Click on the candidate login link.
  3. Enter your JEE Main Application Number and Password.
  4. Locate the "Seat Allotment Result" section to view if you have been allocated a branch.

Crucial Next Steps for Allotted Candidates

If you have been allotted a seat for the first time, or if your seat has been upgraded, follow these three mandatory steps to secure your seat. Failure to do so will lead to the cancellation of your seat, and you will be thrown out of subsequent normal counselling rounds.

1. Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee

You must pay a seat acceptance fee of ₹95,000 online via your candidate dashboard. Payment must be done using Internet Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. Keep a printed copy of the payment receipt.

2. Physical Reporting for Verification

Report physically to the allotted university with all required documents. The reporting schedule for Round 2 is:

  • July 2, 2026: Delhi Region candidates belonging to General, OBC, SC, and ST categories.
  • July 3, 2026: Delhi Region candidates belonging to EWS category and sub-categories (CW, SG, KM, PD).
  • July 3, 2026: All Outside Delhi Region candidates (All categories).

3. Submit Your Willingness (Freeze / Float)

After successful document verification, submit your willingness option:

  • Float (Recommended): Secure your current seat as a backup while remaining eligible for branch upgrades in subsequent rounds.
  • Freeze: Lock your current seat if you are fully satisfied and do not want any further upgrades.

What if No Seat was Allotted?

If you did not receive a seat in Round 2, you do not need to take any action. Your registration will automatically carry forward to Round 3, which is scheduled to declare results on July 7, 2026.
